Enrica Borghi

The artist takes her inspiration blossom from everyday, humble elements - poor materials, in fact, not used to "take part" in these situations - questioning ourselves with these simple tools about our condition of modernity, some time oblivious to the past. Her research focuses on the transformation of the materials, and the re-use of them, creating alternative female dream dresses.

From the Enrica Borghi website: "Certainly, those who collect waste are welcomed like an angel, and their task of removing what remained of yesterday's existence requires a silent respect, like a devotional rite, or simply because once thrown away , nobody cares about it anymore " (Italo Calvino -" The invisible cities ")
