GHADA AMER

Ghada Amer (born in Cairo, Egypt in 1969) currently lives and works in New York.

She moved with her family to France, to Nice at the age of 11 where she completed her studies at the Villa Arson École Nationale Supérieure in Nice which allowed her international exchanges with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

From 1996 he moved to New York. Amer’s wide-ranging practice spans painting, cast sculpture, ceramics, works on paper, and garden and mixed-media installations.
