GINO DE DOMINICIS

Gino De Dominicis (Ancona 1957- Rome 1998) was an Italian artist. His artistic research has always been independent from the artistic currents of the time.

He doesn’t belong to the Arte Povera movement, nor that of the Transavantgardia.

He experiments and researches: In the first phase of his career he is into the 3rd dimension, with sculpture and installations. In the second phase, from the 1980s to his death, he went back to painting, focusing almost exclusively on the representation of figures, faces, architecture with reversed perspectives.
