His performance Hunt me down took part in Live Arts Week X, Bologna.Jacopo Benassi, photographer and artist, lives and works in La Spezia. Over the years he develops a personal style, where the depth of field is canceled and the light of the flash becomes a signature, a stylistic limit that Benassi imposes on himself to arrive at a raw and unmediated photography. The subjects photographed are the most disparate, a varied humanity that moves from underground culture and international music - starting from the experience of the B-Tomic club, managed by the same photographer together with some friends - to portraits of models, actresses, artists , stylists published in some of the most important Italian magazines, up to the investigation of the body, ranging from self-portraits, to documentation of sexual encounters, to ancient statuary. Benassi is also a performer and musician.
