SYLVIE FLEURY
Sylvie Fleury (B. 1961 Geneva, Switzerland) is a Swiss artist who currently lives and works in Switzerland. Her artistic research generally describes objects with sentimental and aesthetic attachments in the consumer culture, seen a new era paradigm. "Fleury creates seductive objects and multimedia installations that, while they can be mistaken for approval, reveal a superficial commentary on the consumer society and its values."
The work “Diamonds” fully expresses what has been defined by the critics as an act of
"Post-appropriation" made by the artist.
